Our Staff

A caring competent staff is on hand to watch over your babies and toddlers during each of our Sunday services. We have a paid nursery attendant with volunteer support staff.

Communication During Service

When you sign your child in the nursery, you will be given a beeper. This serves as a means of security and allows us to contact you if your child needs you during services. Our nursery workers are experienced and will promptly page you if a problem arises.

Additonal Nursery Concerns

Please be aware that for safety reasons, we cannot allow children over three years of age in the nursery. Thank you for your cooperation! A lot of nursery traffic creates stress for children. Standing in the doorway also gives children a chance to "escape." We appreciate your assistance with these concerns. At age three, children move to Kingdom Kids (our children's ministry). Ideally, children are potty trained before the transition. Please contact the Christian Ed. Director with any concerns or questions.

Bags, Bottles and More...

We have a request of all parents who utilize our nursery: please label all bags, bottles, and cups with your child's name. This makes serving your children and easier task.

Snacks

Our nursery children usually have a snack and a story. If your child has any food allergies, please indicate this on the sign-in sheet.

Volunteers

We welcome additional volunteers to our nursery staff, especially for the 9:30 service. All our workers with children and youth complete a screening application which we process with Michigan State Police. If you are interested, please contact Kathie in the Christian Education Office.
