Welcome to Holt United Methodist Church!

“Committed to Knowing and Sharing the Love of God,” are the words guiding us as we seek to understand the power of the Holy Spirit in our lives.

“Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to me. Get away with me and you’ll recover your life. I'll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with me and work with e-watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I won’t lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you. Keep company with me and you’ll learn to live freely and lightly.” ~Matthew 11:28-30, The Message

Ever feel weary, broken, undone, afraid or lonely. Ever sure that you have really messed up and there is nothing that can fix your mistake or that things seem to be falling apart around you and again, you feel lost knowing how to respond or what to do. Join us for the next 42 days with Jesus as we seek to reset and reorder our lives around the love and grace of Jesus. Join us as we seek to see Jesus above the storm and know that just as he held our yesterdays, Jesus holds our todays and tomorrows. Find courage as we seek to draw closer to our God through intentional Spiritual Practices so that we can make bold decisions to live more abundant, gracefilled lifes! If you would like to join us, but can’t make it to the physical church, call our office or send a message and we can email the weekly challenge. The book we are using along with the Bible to guide us is “Soul Reset” by Junius Dotson. Already, we are hearing God speak as we seek to reset and focus our lives on God’s abundant mercy and grace.

Community meals are happening the 3rd Wednesday of every month, 5:00-6:30PM. We worship every Sunday, 9:30 AM & 11 AM onlne and in person. Kingdom Kids (K-5th grade) gather at 9:45 AM (after the children’s message). And the Youth (6th-12th grades) meet Sunday evenings, 5-7 PM. We have a special place in our sanctuary for our youngest worshipers and childcare available for our children, 0-4 yrs.

Join us as we work together to bring out the best in one another as we seek to be who God has called us to be. May we continue to seek God’s leading through the Holy Spirit that we might have the strength to create glimpses of the Kingdom of God in our nation and world.

In Christ, P Rev. Anita K. Hahn
