Worship at Holt United Methodist Church is a time for meeting God through prayer, liturgy, music, scriptures, live and video drama, and in the practice of the sacraments of communion and baptism.  It is also a time of inspirational preaching that emphasizes the practical application of God’s Word with the understanding that we come to worship at different points in our faith journeys and from varied backgrounds.   The ultimate goal of our services is to grow together in our discipleship so that we are better equipped to share the Good News of Jesus Christ with the world in our words and actions.

During the weeks between the 4th of July and Labor Day weekends, services are held on Sunday mornings at 8:30 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. and on Wednesday evenings at 7:00 p.m.  These services are open to the public and visitors are welcome.  Child care is offered in a staffed nursery for ages birth-4 yrs. at all services.   “Kingdom Kids” (ages 5-12) will remain in worship with their families during these summer services, and worship bags are available for them.

Our 8:30 A.M. service, held in our Chapel, offers traditional worship in an informal setting in a service that typically lasts about 45 minutes. Many who worship at 8:30 A.M. appreciate the intimacy of the setting and the sense of community that is a part of this worship experience.

The 10:00 a.m. Sunday service in the sanctuary features traditional hymns and special music.  This hour of worship also offers a Children’s Message.

The Wednesday night contemporary service in the sanctuary features a musical style that is upbeat and led by our enthusiastic praise team.  This service, with its Children's Message, is especially designed for families and people of all ages who appreciate contemporary Christian music.
