Worship at Holt United Methodist Church is a time for meeting God through prayer, liturgy, music, scriptures, video, and in the practice of the sacraments of communion and baptism. It is also a time of inspirational preaching that emphasizes the practical application of God’s Word with the understanding that we come to worship at different points in our faith journeys and from varied backgrounds. The ultimate goal is to grow together in our discipleship so that we are better equipped to share the Good News of Jesus Christ with the world in our words and actions,
Our regular worship schedule, September through May, features two services—one at 9:30 AM and one at 11 AM—on Sundays, often with special music. Our staffed nursery is available for children 6 weeks-age 4; older children will remain in worship with their families. There is a ministry for children ages 4 to grade 5 during the 9:30 AM worship service. Children are dismissed for this after the children’s message in the worship service.
